"I think it was somewhere in October of the year 1993 that I had become the idea of making a CD with my own synthesizer music and that I had to call myself 'VOID'. Influenced by the mid seventies albums of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre, I started to make compositions and almost one year later 4 of them were finished. After making some improvements I decided that I had to record these compositions on an album. Because producing your own CD in that time still was pretty expensive the music had to wait until july 1997 to be released on my debut album 'VOID'. For some reason I only made 200 copies (while 500 copies was not so much more expensive) and sold copies on the KLEM-day in 1997 and the next year on the Alpha Centauri festival. Most copies I sold to mail order distribution companies like Synth Music Direct, Manikin Records and Groove.

In 1998 I started to write new music, I made 2 new pieces of music for the second album that is going to be titled 'Avoidance'. Due to all activities with the band 'Nangyala', where I was a keyboard player, and making Psychedelic (GOA) Trance, my VOID project had less priority to me and there was a big delay making music for the second Void album. In 2001 I stopped as keyboard player in 'Nangyala' and later the band split up completely.

In 2003 I started a course for 1 year on the 'Koorenhuis' (music school), which is called "Sound Laboratory" and there I learn something new about making synthesizer sounds, mainly with a modular synthesizer system called 'Nord Modular' (from Clavia).

Soon after making music was not a very high priority for me anymore for a while, I paid attention to other hobbies and I travelled a lot, I got married, bought a house, we got a daughter called Patricia and meanwhile I am divorced again (since 2008).
In 2008 I finally finished my last composition for 'Avoidance' and in April 2009 the album was recorded in the studio of Ron Boots (Groove unlimited). Unfortunately at this moment the album still has not been produced, but one track called 'st.Anthony's fire' will be released on a collection album called 'Dutch masters', an album with songs (influenced by dutch painters) from different synthesizer artists."
