Void
Void is the pseudonym of Danyo Romijn, formerly member of Pink Floyd-cover project ("The wall") Pink Project and now also keyboarder of progressive rockband Nangyala, that sort of emerged out of Pink Project.
The music on his self-titled debut is totally different from Nangyala's sound. Void is heavily influenced by artists like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Jean Michel Jarre and Pink Floyd (which he immediately admits in the CD's booklet).
As said before: I'm no expert when it comes to electronic music, but I do know some good albums by Tangerine Dream and Void comes very close to them. When I played this album in my office, two colleagues of mine, one Klaus Schulze-fan, the other fan of synthesizer/electronic music in general, both liked the CD at instance (quote: "this is good stuff").
"Void" contains four long titles between 8 and almost 13 minutes and each of them is worth listening to. Recommended to anyone, who remotely likes Tangerine Dream & co.
